Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3

Service Description

This Level 2 training course is a 1 day assessment which will prepare you for emergency situations in the work place,  covering everything from basic First Aid skills to managing life-threatening emergencies.   Completion of this qualification is one of the recognised pathways to getting your SIA License. The First Aid qualification you will need to complete for your SIA License, depends on what environment you will work in: EFAW Level 2 - Ideal for security operations in 'low-risk' workplaces, such as offices, classrooms and small retail. EFAW Level 3 - Ideal for security professionals working in 'High-Risk' environments such as factories, warehouses, public houses and Construction. To obtain an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, you will need to attend additional practical training and an assessment in one of our classrooms. The online course, classroom practical training and assessment meets all guidelines. The resulting qualification is recognised by the HSE. At Rich Training, we can provide all the courses required in achieving your SIA License, whilst proving you with fundamental skills and knowledge in helping you to ensure the safety of your team. Your EFAW qualification will last for 3 years before needing a renewal course. What you will learn First Aid skills Managing Scrapes/Scalds/Burns Control Bleeding Taking hold of an escalating situation and alerting for help. Panic attacks and Epilepsy Poisoning The EFAW course will also introduce you to health and safety regulations that help you to prevent incidents proactively. You’ll also learn emergency situation management. That lets you know how to communicate with the casualty – as well as advise people around you and report the incident to medical professionals.
